I have been having a bowl of Old fashioned oats with some 0% Greek Yogurt and a few strawberries. I have been adding 1 teaspoon coconut oil as well. Is this right? I got a little confused in the book when it says "or" 1 tsp coconut oil watered down with hot water. I thought I had to have 1 tsp fat with an E meal.

Yes, that's a great E meal. =) And you're right. It's best to have about 1 tsp of fat with your E meals.

YOu sure can but if you don't that's fine because oatmeal actually has some fat in it, it is one of those grains that actually have fat and protein. So if you want to have it with just the Greek yogurt and a few strawberries, that is fine. You don't always have to add in the 1 tsp of fat to your E meals but you can. Some of the E options already have a little fat in them like some proteins such as salmon and there is a little bit in most chicken breasts. Chana Dahl actually has some fat even though it is a legume.
