Hello! Yesterday was my first day, it went really well and I felt very full but stayed on plan! However, I let myself get really hungry at bedtime (early dinner/not realizing I was so hungry around 10pm and just drinking an herbal tea) and I actually felt pretty awful all night and into the morning. As I ate my eggs in the morning I was feeling really nauseous and I have a pretty bad headache. Withdrawal from sugary carbs? I did have an E meal yesterday, but an apple was my main carb for that meal, an apple with a teensy bit of PB, grilled chicken over a salad with season salt and lime on top. Other than that I had S meals.
Sorry, I am committed to this and am not going to stop! I just wonder if this is normal or if anyone else has experienced this. SO grateful for a board where I can ask these questions! It helps me stay the course!!

Are you feeling any better today?
I had a headache for the first week, no nausea though. I would definitely think that it has to do with detoxing. After the middle of the 2nd week I felt great and have felt great ever since.

Hi Katie! I hope you are feeling better. If you get hungry at night, feel free to have a fuel pull snack to satisfy you before bed. Are you still nursing? If so, you'll be more likely to need extra snacks. If you keep feeling nauseous and having headaches, you may want to include more E meals, maybe with some quinoa or oats, or Chana Dahl, since you have lots of that over in Dubai. You could also have some S Helpers, maybe 1/4 cup of grain with your S meal. Some people do experience these symptoms when beginning the plan, particularly with a lot of only S meals. But these symptoms go away as your body adjusts. Your commitment is great. After a while the plan will seem like second nature, and you'll really learn what works for you, and what you like the best too.
