I know I've struggled with thyroid issues, but haven't taken armour...maybe should have. Any way after 5 weeks of strict following of this program found me not losing a pound. Went on a 3 week vacation, being away from the home in another part of the world, eating whatever, and I didn't gain a pound! So, I'm seriously wanting to do a complete blood panel of hormone, thyroid, etc. only have no insurance and the closest lab corp is 110 miles away. Any thoughts or suggestions would be wonderful!!! Thanks!

Didn't Pearl mention something in her chapter on hormones about LEF having some (I think it's Life Extension but I could be wrong) I thought she said you can order some panels yourself but I think they can be expensive. You may wanna recheck on that though because I don't have my book in front of me and don't have the greatest memory

have you tried the interval workouts? they create human growth hormone. if you want to read more about that you can search peak 8 on mercola.com and he sheds a lot of light on the subject. just mentioning in case it can help. the peak 8 really helped me. i hadn't shed any weight after baby #7, actually i gained! and that was without eating sugar, bread etc. once i started the intervals (only fast walking and 4 rounds, 3x week) the weight started to drop quickly. and that was before implementing th mama (i was eating a similar way just without the whole knowledge of the carb/fat insulin business).
