I know I've struggled with thyroid issues, but haven't taken armour...maybe should have. Any way after 5 weeks of strict following of this program found me not losing a pound. Went on a 3 week vacation, being away from the home in another part of the world, eating whatever, and I didn't gain a pound! So, I'm seriously wanting to do a complete blood panel of hormone, thyroid, etc. only have no insurance and the closest lab corp is 110 miles away. Any thoughts or suggestions would be wonderful!!! Thanks!
Didn't Pearl mention something in her chapter on hormones about LEF having some (I think it's Life Extension but I could be wrong) I thought she said you can order some panels yourself but I think they can be expensive. You may wanna recheck on that though because I don't have my book in front of me and don't have the greatest memory
have you tried the interval workouts? they create human growth hormone. if you want to read more about that you can search peak 8 on mercola.com and he sheds a lot of light on the subject. just mentioning in case it can help. the peak 8 really helped me. i hadn't shed any weight after baby #7, actually i gained! and that was without eating sugar, bread etc. once i started the intervals (only fast walking and 4 rounds, 3x week) the weight started to drop quickly. and that was before implementing th mama (i was eating a similar way just without the whole knowledge of the carb/fat insulin business).
kristaflrealtor: Can I drink coffee with unsweetened almond milk at any time of the day, or just with meals? I am confused.

steffanie3: lizs if you can post above the ingredients in a thread I can see if it can work. There is great info in the Pearl and Serene chats area about why they recommend a whey isolate that would be good to read

steffanie3: A super handy feature for finding things in the forums is within an area there is a search on the upper right and if you just start typing what you are looking forward (protein) all the posts with it in the title will automatically start coming up

jostenger: Why do we peel the lemons in the Singing Canary?
Jan 18, 2015 15:20:04 GMT -5
steffanie3: You don't have to, in my experience it is way too much oil out of the peel for the drink for my tastes Might depend on the lemons as well, some might tend to be more bitter than others. I do zest most of mind to use the zest in other things.

krisnj: Good Morning! I am a beginner with THM. For breakfast today, I made the zucchini fritter with 1 tsp. coconut oil and had 1/2 c. of RF cottage cheese. Does that qualify as an S breakfast?

steffanie3: Welcome Just keep reading the book and it will come together, it might seem a bit overwhelming at first but don't be afraid to start one meal at a time if you need to and don't worry if you "mess up" Page 112 can be helpful for beginners starting
