So we just had the veggie and barley ( 0 fat and 10 carbs) soup with home made sour dough bread....did we just eat a good e-meal? I hope, as we all liked it and it was so easy... Do I subtract the sugar that is listed under total carbs as well as the fiber carbs or not?

That meal seems good. How much bread did you eat? Only subtract the fiber to get the net carbs.

Two would be the limit on this meal, I think. Less than two is better. I think you did perfect with 1 piece of toast.

SO I was looking today and none of the soups have anywhere near the 45 carbs and 6 fat I was earlier told would be ok for an e meal. I think I wrote something down wrong. Can yo please tell again how many carbs and fat would be ok? I noticed some with no fat had closer to 10 carbs but is that ok since there is no fat? Thanks
