I'm not Serene or Pearl, but I have eaten out 2x since starting THM 2.5 weeks ago. On both occasions I ate a burger with bacon, cheese, and all the veggies - just no bun. I also substituted a salad for the fries and cole slaw options.
At the the 99, they were awesome about the side salad. She came back out and said "you probably don't want croutons on your salad since you don't want any bread? would you like me to put some fresh grated Parmesan on that?" The salad turned out awesome.
I had a coffee while others enjoyed their desserts knowing that I had several yummy dessert options available at home.
I have eaten out several times since starting the plan. Some on plan, some not. Having a nice dessert at home really helps me resist that temptation. I love dessert. I also love sodas. I try to avoid ordering things I will feel like I just have to have a soda with. I am not a coffee drinker but I often used a warm herbal tea when hungry at home between meals. I think I might start doing that at resturants too.
I have eaten out a few times since THM. One time I had the burger without the bun, broccoli and salad. Another time I had salmon, broccoli and salad. A turkey wrap eaten without the wrap. Salad and pizza toppings (scraped off the crust). I always seem to find broccoli and salad as the only acceptable veggie side!

Bryony: New to this posting thing, hope I am doing it right! Been on plan about 2 mo, lost 17 pounds. Still wearing same size clothes but more comfortably. Which is all good. Question though - has anyone else had problems with loose stools?
Oct 28, 2014 9:16:54 GMT -5
steffanie3: Hi Bryony As your body adjust to coconut oil, mct oil, or xylitol loose stools can happen. If you have added those or more of those recently you might need to cut back a little and work up Congrats on the 17 pounds, that is great

grammalynda: if there isn't a reply button on a thread (too old maybe?) should I start a new thread for that subject?
Nov 18, 2014 22:06:22 GMT -5
steffanie3: Hmm, on the upper right as long as you are logged in there should be a reply button, but you sure can start a new thread if you want
Nov 19, 2014 19:52:11 GMT -5
grammalynda: I figured it out-when you do a search it takes you to the conversation-there is not a reply button-but the name of the thread is listed above the date and if you click that it takes you to the thread and the reply button. thanks stefanie3 and rebekahrl
