I'm 66, hard to fathom, but I am! I had been eating a mostly hi protein/lo carb like diet for many years, but my metabolism had just about ceased to function. Even though I was eating hardly anything, I couldn't budge much weight, and when I did, it came right back. To be fair, I was eating very, very strictly, interspersed with bouts of very unhealthy eating. But even when those bouts were few and far between, very little weight loss was possible. I was beginning to think I was in the "post-menopausal impossible phase" when my daughter-in-law told me about this book. I started slowly, but I've probably been on plan now for about a month. I wish I could tell you how many pounds I've lost, but I never weigh... I just go how my clothes fit. And I'm into clothes I haven't worn for years! But the greatest part is that I know my metabolism is functioning again! I'm feeling healthier and have more energy... and it is fun having so many clothes from which to choose! I'm really new at this forum business so I don't know if I'll ever find my way back to this area, but thought I'd throw in my "two cents worth" :-)

I am an almost 62 year old grandma of 13 and just received the book a last week. I'm in a "Weigh In Wednesday" group of women and already have lost 3 pounds even though I didn't do everything right as I'm beginning. I have had blood sugar issues as I'm Type 2, but my numbers responded immediately. Looking forward to learning more and feeling better!

Im 57 and have been eating lo carb for years, but have been trying to figure out why i am getting a tube of fat around the middle. Im hoping adding e meals to my plan will do the trick. Would love to hear more from you mimi7 or other ladies who are post menopausal. willow

I'm 60 and my book is in transit. One of my daughters turned me on to this the day before I was to make a family dinner. I made an S-dinner and she brought dessert. I'm excited to clean out my cupboards and start fresh. I have about 30 lbs to lose. This is so do-able!

My book arrived a week ago and I've been trying to follow plan. Feeling better already and look forward to loosing 20 lbs. clothes are already feeling a bit looser. I have tried everywhere to find the recipe to the Good Girl Moonshine drink (not the GGMS#2); will someone please direct me?

I'm 54 and just downloaded the book to my kindle. I'm still reading, and just beginning to eat this way, but already my energy has increased and my clothes are getting looser. I need to get a scale so that I can track progress. I need to lose around 50 lbs.

I am 55 and would like to loose about 100 pounds. My friend found the FB group and I have been reading on it. I hope she will join me in this journey. I have read through chapter 17 and am so eager to get into the recipes now. I have been cleaning out my cabinets with the bad food. Any suggestions on is it better to start, slowly and if so how, or just start strong with everything? I am hoping this helps both my husband and I. My mom just died of Chronic Kidney Disease and I don't want to be diabetic like her. I want to be more energetic for my new grandson and the rests that will follow.
