What size pan should I make these in? An 8x8?

I bake mine in an 8x8 for 40 minutes and they come out perfectly

Thanks, I went ahead and made them in the 8x8 pan just before lunch and they look great. Haven't tasted them yet though.

We love to make a maple flavored version of these with cream cheese frosting, sooo good! I have to fight my husband back to keep him from eating it all! (well not quite but almost! lol) I always do a double batch in a 9x13 I also like to do the chocolate and put some instant coffee in the frosting. I think I'm going to have to soak some beans now so I can make one tomorrow!

I like to make theese into muffins/cupcakes. Adjust baking time to 15-20 min. The recipe makes about 12 regular size cupcakes. I use paper muffin pan cups so they keep from drying out because I make a double batch to have as an easy snack for the family a few times during the week. They tend to stick to the papers somewhat but the cupcake is so satisfying and filling, no one seems to mind.

Oh no, I was wondering about this. Since the recipe said "baking tray" I thought it meant a cookie tray, like you would use for a sheet cake or jelly roll. I poured it in and put it in the oven but thought they would burn to a crisp if I baked them for 30 to 35 minutes! I will just have to keep an eye on them. They will be more like a cookie than a brownie but will hopefully still be tasty, especially if I frost them.
