I have been doing THM for a few weeks and I LOVE IT!!!! Dessert everyday is my lifesaver and keeps me from "cheating." My kids make fun of me bc I often make my cake in mug. My favorite!!! I just had some questions- when having an "E" meal, how many fat grams are ok to have? I know the book said 1-2 tsp. of fat but what about grams? Also, when having a "S" meal, how many carbs and fat grams are allowed? Thank you!

5g of fat & 45g carb in an E meal, 10g of carb in an S meal, 5g fat & 10g carb in a FP, I don't think there is a fat limit in S meals. I believe this is just a loose estimate b/c we are not really supposed to count fats & carbs in grams, just paying attention to the amount we are adding to a meal, that's why they say 1 tsp of fat instead of 5g. I hope that doesn't sound confusing.

I don't think so but I could be wrong about that. I've never worried about it & have still lost weight. It might be something to think about if you are eating a lot of heavy S meals & not losing weight.

If you're a part of the THM Facebook page, they have a file that talks about "Deep S" "Heavy S" and "Light S". It helped me understand that I didn't NEED to have every different type of fat possible in every S meal (Eggs, sausage, bacon, cheese, cream cheese, + coffee w/ cream lol - this type of meal would be Heavy S by the way). The file explained that sometimes you can do meals like that and eat all those fats together and be SUPER satisfied, but sometimes you could just do just a couple of pure fats in the meal - salad with oil dressing, meat and avocado (Deep S). Then sometimes it's good for you to have a Light S which just means you scale back the amount of fat - maybe have lean meat with some cheese and light oil on a salad...Hope that Helps!

Where, please, is this file? I've "liked" the FB page www.facebook.com/TrimHealthyMama but I don't see any place to access a file on that page. Glad to be here!

It's on the Trim Healthy Mama fan page I think, make sure you like the page that you can post comments on (there's also a THM "author" page but that one doesn't have files). There are some tabs at the top of the page and one says files or documents. Once you click on that, it will bring up a list of numerous helpful file links! Hope that helps!! I need help with sides. Our meals were generally traditional, meat, starch, and additional side. I am having trouble getting over the groups of 3 thing. How do you choose a side with a meal? And what about bread? I made the E - Italian Chicken in the crockpot which was wonderful, but my husband said it would have been better with cornbread, ha. But could I have served it with the pan flatbread?

Yes, the pan bread would be nice with this, as your carb source for the E chicken. Something like creamless creamy veggies would be delicious as well with it, or a small side salad with a very low fat dressing, like the honey mustard style dressing in the book.
