They sound great Kozimom. You are so blessed to get them at that price. It seems all konjac noodles differ a little, 10 calories and 1 gram of net carbs is completely fine.

This looks like a great meal I need to find an Asian market soon. This could be a staple. Really 2 dollars for lunch that's great.

This is amazing! It looks so yummy and actually doesn't cause you to gain weight! I am about to order the book. A friend recently mentioned it to me and she actually bought several copies to give to her family members for Christmas because she thinks it is such a great book! I am looking forward to reading it and trying out all the recipes.

K and S international food store on Nolensville Rd in Nashville. My husband works just a few blocks down so he gets me them for me when I run out. Our whole extended family makes trips there now and stocks up so if they are cleaned out - oops blame us. My brothers and their families love them too. One of my brothers thinks he is the most expert konjac noodle meal cook out of us all.

I should have figured you were getting them at K&S. My mom and I have been both needing to go there so maybe I will just make it next trip. Thanks Pearl.

I found what was called Shriataki noodles at Vitacost. Made with water, Konnyaku (glucomannan), and calcium hydroxide (hydrated lime). I'm assuming these are the same thing?? They had angle hair, fettuccini, and rice by the name brand of Miracle Noodle, and plain and spinich in the Dukan Diet line. Please let me know if these are basically the same.

Thanks for the tip about k&s Pearl. I live about an hour and fifteen minutes from Nashville and I will put that on my stock up list the next time I come to Nashville. Any other stores that you love in Nashville?

Vitacost has them for $3.09 for a 7oz bag, which I think is a little higher than you say you pay. I'll be checking the Whole Foods when I'm in the city for my daughter's guitar lessons on Friday, and I may try to locate an Asian market there, but it's good to know I can order it if I can't find it somewhere else.

I feel like I just hit the jack pot. I went to and Asian Food Mart an hour away (making use of visiting my grandma in the cities) and got a 7oz bag for 1.34 and a 1lb bag for 2.49! They only had 2 larger bags so I had to buy some smaller ones, too. I hope I like them I bought 6 bags.
Does anyone know the fridge life for these? Could they be frozen? Thinking ahead for my next trip. Misty
