Turkey & Ham w/gravy Sweet potato casserole Green Bean Casserole Greek Salad Red Sauce
Caramel Apple Cheesecake Chocolate & Cream Pie Choc pecan pie Whipped Cream
Cranberry Wassail
I didn't mention the off plan stuff that I'm not eating (except a bite of the 2 desserts my oldest daughters made). It's all S, even the sweet potato casserole b/c it's pumpkin & cauliflower instead of sweet potatoes.
I can't wait to see what everyone else is making so I can get ideas for Christmas!

I'm using the Spinach Casserole recipe on pg 358 from the book that calls for spinach but says you can sub w/ green beans. The biscuits you are making are my favorite, that would have been a good option instead of rolls but I'm not a big bread person so I'm not really missing it. I've got some Wassail on the stove & my house smells so good. You can't go wrong with the Apple Pie Sip, it is so good.

It's a tradition for us for my husband to do the cooking, which started with having 3 babies in November over the years. I'm the gravy maker and "clean up crew" which I don't mind at all. All my children have specific jobs they do and so it's not much work for any one person. I'm planning on skipping the mashed potatoes, and the green bean casserole (don't really care for that anyway) The only thing that will be on plan will be the Cranberry Sauce and Pumpkin Pie Cheesecake. I've tweaked the regular recipe to make it work for THM. This will be the first year Thanksgiving will be all sugar free and I'm so glad! I've been wanting to do that for so long but had no idea how. I am making the cranberry sipper, too. I made it yesterday and today also. Can't get enough of it.

What a blessing to have your husband cook for Thanksgiving! I love pumpkin cheesecake & usually make one for Thanksgiving but made a different kind this year. I think I'll put that on the Christmas menu.

So I know that Thanksgiving for 2014 is months away, but November is my busiest month with five birthdays to add to the holiday and it's deer hunting season in my state. Since I just started THM this week and I want to still be on plan for the upcoming holiday season, can anyone give me some menu ideas with links to recipes? I'm a huge plan ahead type person and need recipes to follow when I am stressed out, sorry. Any and all help would be saving my life...especially since Thanksgiving is at my house this year. Thanks in advance!
