Hi, it's been a while since I've been on here, but it looks like all the Trim Healthy Mamas on here are doing great! Anyway, can anyone list any gluten free E breakfasts for me? I can eat gluten but my mom CANNOT and I want to start making her breakfasts along with my own. This was a great idea (and still is) til I remembered that she cannot have oats for an E breakfast. So, I was trying to think of some GF E breakfasts and just KNEW you wonderful ladies would help me out! Thanks so much!

What about Waldorf Salad or a whey fruit smoothie. There are gluten free oats. There are breakfast recipes in the book that use quinoa, is that gluten free? Hopefully others will chime in with more options

One of my favorite E breakfasts is brown rice pudding. I throw a serving of cooked brown rice in a saucepan with some almond milk to moisten (however milky you want it), and add a splash of vanilla, a pinch of sea salt, some cinnamon, and stevia to taste. Heat it up and enjoy as a porridge. Blueberries (or any berry) would be delicious in this. I enjoy it with my morning coffee, or a mug of THM approved hot chocolate.

These all sound great. I am just starting and have to eat GF so I was already worried. This helps a lot. Thank you.

One of my favourite E breakfasts is a 1/2 a baked yam with brussels sprouts and egg white on top. I cut the brussels sprouts small, fry them in a tsp of butter and add the egg whites once they're soft.
I know brussels sprouts arent for everyone but I just love them. I find this meal keeps me fuller longer =)

There is gluten free oats. Chex makes an original and a naple flavor one. Also THM store has oat fiber which will give you a creamier oatmeal.
