Samantha introduced a few of us to these over on the January FP Cycle thread, and I didn't want this excellent recipe to get buried. It's so good! If you use almond milk instead of skim (which isn't THM approved anyway) it brings the calorie count down even more. 37 Calorie Brownies
Thanks, Samantha!

I forgot it said Skim milk, I'm so used to converting it to almond milk in my head. Thanks for pointing that out Nanci! I will just add that I used Oat Fiber in place of the oats today but was not as pleased with results. I want to play around with this recipe to see if I can reduce the carbs in it a bit although it has been given the green light as a FP snack provided that you only eat 1 or 2 squares since the oats & egg are spread out over so many servings.

The almond milk is only about 30 calories per cup where as skim is 90, so it definitely further reduce calories. I made mine with cottage cheese (it gets blended) and loved the texture.
ooh, two squares! Yay!. That would still only be a 74 calorie snack!
BTW, these taste even better frozen! They don't freeze solid, and the texture improves, and the chocolate flavor deepens. So good when you need a little something chocolate!

I finally got around to making these last night and they were awful! They tasted sour. What could I have done wrong? I used Greek yogurt. Does almond milk sour? It was in date and smelled okay. Is it supposed to be white like cow's milk? Mine is not...

bethanna I wasn't crazy about the tang from the yogurt but really like it with cottage cheese & straight out of the freezer like Nanci suggested.
