I think I read somewhere that these soups can be an E meal but what is the fat gram limit on them? some are 1.5 and some are 4.5... I assume they aren't all approved for E?

Either of those numbers is acceptable for E. I have not looked at all of the different kinds of Progresso Light soups, so I can't say wether they are all approved or not. But any with pasta will not be good. Better stick to the ones with things like barley instead, which is a whole grain, and lower on the glycemic index.

The broth based light Progresso's can be used for FP, but I tend to go E with them, I eat the whole can and a piece of fruit sometimes depending on how hungry I am. You want to avoid the chowder type light that have came out since the book was introduced.

You want to avoid the chowder type light that have came out since the book was introduced. I ate the Chicken Enchilada Light Progresso but a serving was a half can so I had that with some Ezekiel bread. Today I'm going to eat the other half can with a Nectarine for an E lunch. If I ate the whole can the fat would be over 5 grams so keeping this one to half a can is the way to go...right? Oops that will only be 18 net carbs. And I won't really be hungry but have to eat before going out or there will be too large a gap between meals/snacks. E is so hard for me.

When you read the nutrition labels, remember that we don't count the fat/carbs in the protein source (lean meat) & non-starchy veggies. My understanding is that the whole can is fine in FP. Then you can add your E foods (ezekiel bread or fruit) to make it an E meal. You don't HAVE to eat a full can, but you can if you are hungry enough

It's hard not to count it when it's on the label! E meals still are hard work for me.

Thanks. I had half a can left so I ate that with a piece of sourdough bread and a nectarine. Trying not to eat an accidental Fuel Pull Meal. In 3 hours I will be in the car so dinner will be interesting. Crazy Schedule ETA: Maybe a shake will work and then I can eat again much later...
