They would be E, correct? Is there a downside to them at all? I was wanting to keep them in my bag for the times that we are traveling or I am unprepared.

There are two lines of them, the Natural are on plan, the others are artificially sweetened. I like Netrition to know which is which, even if you order or buy from somewhere else, this is the Natural line www4.netrition.com/quest_natural_bar.htmlSome are S. The Peanut Butter one and some others are FP, just barely. I think they are great for keeping on hand for emergencies or traveling. You don't want to rely on bars instead of food, but they are an option

I love these! Can you tell me how to tell which ones are S, E or FP? I keep them in my purse for emergencies. They are super yummy and very satisfying!

If they have 5 grams of fat or less (about a tsp worth of fat ). I tend to think of them as S since they are nut based. Remember to stick with the Natural line so they are on plan with the sweeteners

I bought a few and haven't eaten any yet. One has traveled everywhere with me in my bag, just in case. It's probably going to be all stuck to the wrapper when I finally open it.

There is no E fuel source in them, so they would be FP

I love them so much! I also try to stay with the natural ones that don't have sucralose in them as an added sugar! I know the strawberry cheesecake one only has 4.5 grams of fat and doesn't have sucralose in it so I like that one a lot for fuel pull meals/snacks! Because the fiber brings the "net carbs" down to 3-5g (depending on which bar you get), that's what keeps these in the fuel pull range! I also love the lemon cream pie one and that doesn't have sucralose in it either + with 5 grams of fat, it still is right at the top of the fuel pull range for fat! I don't have them all the time but I definitely keep them in my workout bag, drawer at work and take one with me when I go out - just so I don't feel deprived if someone is eating a yummy treat & I didn't plan to make my own - or if I find myself unprepared and starving that way I don't make a bad choice! Oh and Vastamper - even if it's stuck, it still tastes delicious! I've had my fair share of stuck ones!

I want to correct myself, I was talking with another THM Admin and I should have stuck with my original call of S based off ingredients. They are quite a bit higher in calories than other items that are considered FP, I feel much more comfortable thinking of them as S. Another reason the numbers can be confusing and a bit misleading

I have used them in a pinch and have split in half with my husband, they had them at our YMCA. I have not found them anywhere else and would love to have a couple on hand for emergencies where is everyone purchasing them?

They keep the natural and the artificially sweetened ones right next to each other at my store. I still haven't eaten one yet! Maybe eating one would be better than the long gaps I've had between eating some days.

Finally ate one of these today. It was all melted from me carrying it around for months. Unless that's what they are like?
It was OK. Not like a candy bar and not like cardboard. But it kept me from going WAY long between eating. I'll stick another one in my bag.
