I just found a recipe for Walnut Milk while on a rabbit trail looking at something else...I never would have thought to make that, but it does make sense....why not? It would be a great source of omegas. I know for the homemade almond milk, to keep it FP, I use 1/2 c almonds to 2 qts water. The nutrition information that I looked up for walnuts was that it had slightly higher fat content than almonds, so would a ratio of 1/4 c walnuts to 2 quarts of water work? Or more nuts could be used and call it an S, right? The recipe (<---link) called for 1 c walnuts to 5 c water (leave out the agave)

I don't know about the ratios, but I was raised vegetarian.. you can make about any nut unto milk. The most common were almond and cashew, though. It would seem fine for S or with appropriate amounts for F.P.

Yes, that ratio will be fine. Let us know how it is if you try it!

It's delicious. I think I like it a little more than the almond milk. And I've used the leftover ground walnuts to sprinkle on salads and even my fried eggs.
