Ladies I am going to my in-laws for Easter. They are not super healthy and they make food I don't eat most the time anyway. I want to bring a dish that can be shared but that will be something special for Easter brunch. Any good ideas? I don't care if it's a main dish, a side dish or a dessert. I just need to be sure I have something ON PLAN so I can eat. Especially being I will have just finished my 3 week FP. (And I'm feeling great )

Good job on completing a 3-week fuel cycle! What kind of results did you see? Feeling great is #1 but did you notice inches or lbs? Did you do the fuel cycle with a group? I'm not sure how to help you out with what you could bring to a pot luck. Your body will be feeling so good and ready for whatever you 'throw' at it. You don't want to undo all the hard work and discipline it took to complete those 3 weeks. At the same time, fellowship with others is very important and sometimes food can cause a wedge in relationships. You will not destroy all your hard work because of one day. Don't beat yourself up for eating off-plan food for 1 meal. You can follow up with a deep S and get right back on track without having 'everything fall apart'. When I was talking with my husband about doing THM full-time and long term, one thing we decided was that THM was not supposed to be more important than fellowship and relationships. I still do my best to pick foods that are crossover without too much off-plan ingredients. All that being said, you could choose a dish where you think would be the 'worst' ingredients (often dessert with loads of sugar) and bring that for your replacement. Hope you will enjoy your potluck and family time.

I would go with S for potluck type meals, because generally there will be other things that you can eat with S. A special food I think of for Easter would be asparagus and hollandaise sauce. A salad doesn't seem too special maybe, but with lots of yummy veggies chopped in would be great for a potluck. Do they do casseroles for the main dishes normally or a meat like ham or turkey? You might bring a meat main if no one else is. For desert this would be special and yummy with berries and whipped cream jennifergriffin.wordpress.com/2014/02/18/rockin-roll-cake-fp/

The oopsie eclairs might be a nice treat everyone would enjoy.
