I'm brand new to the THM plan and have noticed many of the recipes use almond flour and almond milk which, unfortunately, I'm allergic to. Does anyone know of adequate substitutes for these ingredients?

You could try flax or a flax/coconut combo. You could try some unsweetened coconut milk in a carton. Just be careful as I think there may be more carbs in it.

I use unsweetened coconut milk (beverage) sometimes and usually use half that and half water because it is more fatty than almond milk

Thanks Steffanie! Do you also use flax in place of almond flour?

I don't know how it would work in all recipes, but I prefer flax meal, over almond flour in the MIMs.
