Where does Edamame fit in THM? Is it an E or a FP?
The frozen Edamame package I have lists it as being low in fat and low in carbs. I've been thinking of it as an E because it's a bean. But is it really a FP? I know that it's a soy bean but I don't eat a full serving and I don't eat them daily.
Serving size is 1/2 a cup
Total Fat 3.5 grams Carbs are 11 grams - 4 grams of fiber = 7 net carbs Protein is 5 grams.

They could easily become a Crossover (both fuel sources), I eat them on an occasion and stick to a serving size (or less) as FP.

Thanks steffanie3! I always eat less than a serving size. So that makes them (FP) and I can occasionally have them with either an (S) meal or an (E) meal. Thank you!
