Hi, I'm wondering how cookie bowl oatmeal is a fuel? Someone told me that fuel pull should be no more than 5grams of fat and no more than 10grams of carbs, but 1/4 cup oatmeal is like 13 net carbs. I just want to make sure I'm building my FP meals and shakes correctly.

You can subtract the fiber from the carbohydrates, so, that should bring it down.

Yeah that's what I was doing, I guess I'm not sure how to make this plan work yet. I'm getting discouraged. I got the book for Christmas and I've been on plan since new years, at first I gained then I lost then I gained and now I'm back to where I was when I started. Maybe it's bc I'm not using the protien powder, I'm using eggs, cottage cheese and meat for protien, could that be the problem?

I don't think you have to use protein powders. But for me, drinking smoothies with it keeps me fuller, with less calories while getting lots of protein. Plus, it's so yummy!

I would encourage you to not worry about "the numbers" but to just focus on foods in categories You could post some menus if you would like us to help trouble shoot in case you are having Crossovers on accident or need other tweaking.

Yeah, I have either a big boy FP or a snickers S smoothie every day after work, I use cottage cheese for protien. Thank you for advising me to post menus, I should, but where? Here in this post or should I start another one? I know that sounds silly but there's so many different topics and subtopics lol, it can be confusing on where to post things.

A journal is a good place. You can keep track of your food goals, successes and trials.

I have a fitness app on my phone where I journal all my meals but I could easily transfer that info onto a journal here, would members be able to see my journal and give feedback?
