Br: (CO). Fruit salad: 1/2 c basmati rice, 1 cup blueberries, 1/2 cup 0% dry cottage cheese, 2-3 Tbsp light cream, stevia and salt.
Sn: handful peanuts
L: (CO) 1 whole wheat pita, 2 tsp mayo, 4 sliced roasted chicken deli meat, 1 slice cheese, lettuce, sauerkraut.
Sn: 1/2 orange, 1/2 c dry cottage cheese, 2 Tbsp cream, stevia. This is my before workout snack.
S: (CO) beef and cabbage borscht, fresh baked Desem bread with butter.
Started my baby on solids this week. Liking how I can make CO for him knowing he needs a balance of fat, carbs, and protein. Other babies I gave plain mashed fruit or steamed plain veggies. His protein will not come from meat or eggs for the first month for sure. Trying for dairy and grain protein first. He likes refried beans and cream!
