I live in Mexico, and I need to compare my nutritional values of my Mexican ingredients to the american equivalent, in hopes to find some help with my almost 4 month weight-loss-stall. Ingredients in the THM Recipes that I need nutritional values for, are: cream cheese, mozzarella & cheddar cottage cheese yogurt, plain I welcome you to include anything helpful. I have already found out that the OIKOS Natural Yogurt, plain(that I find here), has sugar, milk solids, etc. added... too sad! I appreciate and want to thank ALL of you ahead of time, for sending me information. I've got to figure this out!

MexGal, it would probably depend greatly on each brand, etc. The most important thing is the actual ingredients, that there are no added sugars, etc. Really, we don't count fats, although they do count and we don't want to have calorie abuse...at least too often...in our S meals. Here are 3 things I use. Greek yogurt, Kirkland brand from Costco: serving size 1 cup. Protein 23 grams, sugars 7 (these are naturally occurring, not added), fat 0g. Daisy lowfat cottage cheese from Walmart: serving size 1/2 cup, fat 2.5 g, sugars 4g, protein 13g. Darigold heavy whipping cream, from Costco: serving size 1 Tbs, fat 6g, Sugars 0g, protein 0g. These are just the brands I use. If you would like help with your stall, feel free to post menus of what you are eating through several days, and we would be happy to help you trouble shoot.

Here is what I have that compares to what you gave:
Regular Yogurt(150g/serving): Sugar 8.3g, Fats 6g, Sat.Fats 3.9g, Protein 5.7g
Cottage Cheese is the same as you gave for ½ cup, BUT It has Carrageenan in it….I have heard that Carrageenan is not good for you. I know nothing about it, sorry.
Cream(per 1 tbsp): Protein .45g, Fat 3g-sat.fats 1.25g, sugars .5g(says natural) It has Carrageenan in it too.

Yes, I've heard bad things about carageenan, too. My cream actually contains that, too. I guess it's one of those personal choice items..
On the yogurt, you can use regular fat free on plan in an E setting only. Or you can use Greek full fat in an S setting. Or greek nonfat in any setting. The regular, (not greek), full fat would be a crossover, and like whole milk would not promote weight loss.
