I made the Tomato & Cucumber salad recipe that was posted on fb THM site. Adding all my things up, totals as follows:
Carbs 11 Fiber 2 Fat 18
Of that, the tomato was 6 carb, 1 fiber cucumber was 3 carb, 1 fiber light mayo was 2 carb.
Please answer the following questions: Is this meal just not something that qualifies for S meal? Or is it ok?
Should I change to a different mayo?
Are vegetable carbs ok?
So, my net carbs are 9.
The bad part is, I just ate, but I'm still hungry.
Thanks for your comments.

I don't calculate grams of things, I just know how to keep it an S and an E. I *do* keep conscious of the carbs & fats, but I don't add up each ingredient. This is about food freedom! That being said, I know tomatoes are higher in carbs than greens; we are to use them in moderation in an S setting. I didn't really answer your question, but I wanted you to know I read it & how I deal with this lifestyle.

Thanks citygirl. I re-read the chapter on S meals. It's under 10 carbs, so I'm ok. Also, another friend said not to stress over vegetable carbs so much.

It is about categories more than numbers. I would pair some protein with this salad to not be hungry so soon.
