I am new to the diet. I have been on it 3 weeks.
Occasionally, I will eat a meal replacement bar if I am running short on time at work. However, my wife says it is NOT on plan.
I consider it to be an S snack. Can someone confirm this?
It is an Atkins Meal Replacement Bar:
Total Fat 14g
Total Carb: 23g Dietary Fiber: 9 g Sugars: 1 g Sugar Alcohols: 11g
So it technically only has 3 net carbs
Is this ok or not?

I am new too, and I can't answer your total question, but I thought net carbs was calculated by subtracting the fiber from the total carbs. In that case, it would be 14 net carbs, which I think would be too many for an S? But, I may be not understanding that correctly.

You subtract the sugar alcohol too. So the net carbs is 3g. It would be fine for a meal or snack...if you aren't a purist. ?I use the atkin bars myself from time to time.
