I'm not clear on how much protein we should shoot for at any particular meal.
I know there is advice to pick your protein first and then decide what fuel source to have with it, but not a lot on how MUCH protein you need in each setting.
Could some clarify it please? Is there a minimum gram amount for a full meal? For a snack?
I tend to end up short on the protein, I think, because I'm not a big meat eater, and I can't eat eggs. Collagen is nice, but you have to have a lot to get much protein out of it.

I have always wondered about amounts too. I'm sure I'm not getting enough either, but now that I'm finding that my body can handle greek yogurt, it's been a little easier. Can't wait to read what the experts say

I'm not sure I'm an expert on this subject, but I think the amount of protein that's recommended is between 15-20 grams per meal-snack. I don't know where the book talks about it, but I'm pretty sure it's in the book somewhere and it's also been discussed on the forum. I'm sure an admin will chime in hear and give a more concrete answer.

I think 15-20 with every meal is a good guide line. Here's a FB post where Pearl talks about if you can overdo protein.

I think the problem is that for some reason, on this forum, I have to remove a bunch of code before posting everytime or it shows up in my post. I tried quoting your post before editing out the extra code. It looks like the link was in there. So thanks, I was able to follow the link and see the article.
I have no idea why my browser is doing this on this forum. I have to convert to BBcode to see the code in my compose screen and then delete it before posting every time. Its rather a pain.

That does sound like a pain. Glad you were able to read it though.

Must be some kind of Proboards bug.
