I don't know who all reads my posts so I'll start from the beginning and give a quick 'over view' without going into a long and drawn out story. I was diagnosed with PCOS at the age of 17 after not getting my cycle for a of couple years (I had been getting them before). I was also 158 pounds. My Dr asked me to lose 20 but I knew I wanted to lose at least 30. They also said I was almost a pre diabetic. I signed up for my fitness pal and started tracking my calories, I want to say I lost the 20 I think, it's been awhile. Then about a year ago (I was 20) a friend recommend a low carb diet. I started that and lost down to 130, and I started getting a cycle a month again! I was SO happy!! But then I started to get more sluggish/tired, etc. I wasn't losing anymore either. My goal weight is 120. Someone else told my mama about THM and how they cured their PCOS with it. I was very hesitant to try it as I was very afraid of carbs, I was worried I would lose my cycles and gain all my weight back. I started around the end of december to the beginning of janurary. After I started I got more energy and I also started to drop weight I was very happy!! My lowest as been 123 but I gained up to about 127 and I have no idea why. But now I'm not getting my cycles anymore. My last one was on november 23-26th. I'm very tempted to give up my E meals, but I just love them so much! Maybe I'm just having too many?
Does anyone have any thoughts for me? I'm very confused. Maybe someone knows how to get in touch with Miss Serene and Pearl and see if they have any thoughts?

I forgot to say, but I still seem to get the symptoms of a monthly every month. Meaning I get bloaty, crampy, gain about 2 pounds, etc but never the actual cycle.

Hi! I have 2 questions for you.
1. How tall are you? I ask this because..I know you want to lose weight. But, if you could be possibly underweight that can cause problems with no cycle.
2. How much do you exercise? Too much exercise can also cause problems.

Hey! I'm 5' 1/4" I'm sure I'm not underweight Sadly I haven't been exercising at all. At my old job I used to get over 20,000 steps a day, now with my vet stuff I'm lucky if I even get 10,000 =( =( I really hope to start taking walks again, I just have so much going on I'm having trouble finding a balance....

Your BMI is about 24. That puts you in a normal range. I'm not sure how much one can go according to BMI, but it gives you an idea. 5 feet is short so your weight would be more noticeable.

Ask your parents if they can give you an honest answer if they think you should lose any weight. They are the ones that can help you figure out that part. Then, Just keep going like you have been with your most recent changes. If you keep losing and your parents think it's too much, start adding crossovers once a day to help balance you out. If you don't lose anything, maybe your body is telling you that you are where you need to be. You need enough fat on your body as well as in your diet to keep your hormones happy and in order to keep your cycle regular.

Thank you. Mama said she thinks I could lose more (so like down to the 120) but if I didn't I'm fine too. She said maybe switch focus not to losing weight, but to try and build muscle now. I think my problem is that I'm too hard on myself, I expect to fix myself in a day or week. I need to try and remind myself to look at how far I've come since I was 17. Not on how I'm not where I want to be. I need to Jeep reminding myself that this is a journey, not a *fix*. There will be good days and bad days. Days I feel like I'm *owning* everything and days where I feel like a fat mess. But God is right there by my side the whole time, through thick and thin. I need to remember to look to Him for my strength, not my will power. And not stress over every little detail....

Sounds like your mama has some good advice for you. I hope you can be an overcomes in the areas you struggle with. Focusing on health and not stressing about a few pounds will be good. You may be able to let go of those pounds once you relax a little.

Thank you. I know stress is a number one killer, and I have been stressed with my vet work stuff lately. Trying to figure it all out while still having time for my family, animals, me time, etc.
