When I eat an E meal for breakfast I do not make it to snack time will I am weak with hunger. I am following the recipes. Is this common?

It can happen if you don't have adequate protein. It helps to make sure you use your 1tsp of allowed fat. One of the suggestions is to have a baby frappe with your meal to fill you up. But for me, its like adding air. It makes me burp but doesn't really help with hunger. You could try Pearl's chocolate milk as a filler with E meals.

Back in my early THM days I was hungry almost immediately after an E meal. Then I invested in some whey protein isolate, and it seemed expensive but was so worth it! Between that and a tad of fat, I could make breakfast meals like creamy grains, purist grains, ordinary oatmeal etc. more filling and (I think) boosted weight loss just by stirring in a few tablespoons. I now buy the 5 lb. container by NOW on Amazon.
By the way, even upping the protein content, I get hungry pretty quickly after an E meal and really look forward to snack time. It's just the nature of carbs with minimal fats. And it's why my husband has dubbed THM to be Trim Hungry Momma, LOL.

Thanks for the response! It is good to know that I am not the only one who gets so hungry on E meals. I have upped my protein and I can make it to snack time now. When I do a S meal, I never even think of food till lunch and then only because I have to take my lunch break and I am forced to think about it!
