I fell in love with skinny chocolate a few months ago when my sister made it for me. I made a batch of it for myself tonight, ate it, and within 15 minutes of finishing it experienced a weird headache and jitteriness like I would have if I've had too much coffee. I made it according to the directions with 3 teaspoons of truvia (I didn't grind it up though; although that shouldn't matter.) I don't recall getting a headache or feeling jittery when my sister made it. What gives? When I first had it I was on the east coast, below sea level. Now I'm in the west, in a high altitude environment. Could this be affecting my body's metabolism of the truvia? It's really weird, and I feel like crap. So much so that I don't ever want to eat skinny chocolate again.

How much did you eat? Too much coconut oil at first can be super cleansing on the body, that could cause a bit of a headache and yes Truvia for some people does cause headaches it seems. Not for me though. I would try again after waiting a few days, grind it up, eat less and if the headache returns, switch to the nustevia pure extract powder -4 shakes will do it.

How much of the skinny chocolate would be considered a serving?
