I am wondering if I misunderstood this from the book. In the (absolutely fantastic, btw) list of snacks at the end of the snack chapter, it says plan-approved crackers and a light Laughing Cow wedge and says storebought Ryvita crackers are okay with the letters S, E and FP beside it. Does this mean a Ryvita cracker is a FP?

Yes, they are if you don't eat more than 2 at a time. The light rye type has 11 grams of carbs for two pieces I think, very little fat and I remember the calories are lower. So eating them with some a light cheese wedge or two is a nice fuel pull idea.
Have you ever tried GG crisp bread? It is a much lighter Fuel PUll, way less calorie and carb. I buy them at Kroger now and then. On their own they taste pretty bad but with toppings, I actually like them.

What about the Wasa crackers/crispbread? They have 60 calories, 9g net carbs (11g carbs, 2g fiber) and 0g fat for each flat bread cracker.

Thanks, Pearl. That is great to know. What does GG stand for? I'm in Canada, so no Krogers here.

The cripbreads are a little higher but okay now and then. If you eat two of them you are really into E territory. One would be fine.

It doesn't say what GG stands for, just says, Scandanavian Bran Crispbread Low GI. I think they'd be easy to make the ingredients just list, unprocessed wheat bran, rye flour and salt.
