Ok so my dh wants to take me out for Valentines Day on Saturday. I am so excited he even told me that we were going to go to a comedy club and that's right up his alley, I just hope it will tickle my funny bone. I am so happy he planned all this. The only thing he said I need to do is figure out what and where we should eat. As he fully supports my THM new shape happening. Well I started the One Week Cycle and will be on a E meal day. What do I do? This will be my 2nd week through and I don't want to destroy it but when does my dh ever plan anything?? I couldn't say no. So what type of restaurant do I go to? What do I eat? Help, suggestions please. Also, we will not be going to some fancy place. It just has to be dinner!

I don't know if this will help you or not but I'm in the same boat. My plan is to eat E all day but allow myself to eat an S dinner...I can't think of a healthy, on plan E meal to eat out & my Fuel Cycle is merely a way to boost my metabolism, it is not a measure of my success on this plan. If my husband wants to take me out then I will drop the FC for the night & completely enjoy my time w/ him & I can eat an S meal w/ no guilt. Enjoy your date, comedy clubs are so much fun!

I was going to say the same thing as cashen You could get a low-calorie salad, with chicken breast and low-fat dressing (fairly common menu option). Or a white fish with citrus (depending on where you go). But I would probably switch it up and do the S, I don't think it would be destroying your week and you could finish your last day as E in the morning (guessing you have one left). You could always decide for sure once you get there as long as you have had 3 hours to switch.

Thanks ladies I appreciate the advice! I know I shouldn't worry but I am still trying to loose and last week loosing a 1.5 lbs I wanted to see something like that this week. I suppose I could just do a 3rd week if Monday I wake and don't feel like flopped. I need this boost as well. We had talked prior to starting so that I didn't have any of these days happen. But when dh get's an idea he runs. Which is good, or we'd never do anything as I am a home body! :-)

Please just enjoy and have a yummy S meal, in the grand scheme of things, it will be better to have an easier on plan meal and relax so you can have great memories with your husband.
