Hi ladies! We eat Mexican food alot and my parents especially like to treat us to some of the local Mexican restaurants. Does anybody have any ideas of what I can possibly order to stay on plan?

Yes, I love Mexican. Did you read the section on eating out in our book? We give suggestions there. Fajitas are a great choice, you'll be surprised that you likely won't miss the rice, beans or toritallas. The wonderful spicy meat and veggies with cheese, salsa and sour cream is very satisfying. A Taco salad is a great choice too, just don't eat that shell. You can ask for cucumber slices to dunk into your cheese dip or salsa if you feel left out not eating the chips.

The local place makes a carne asada salad that is really yummy and no tortilla bowl, they also have one with chicken as well as the taco salad styles.
Fajitas sound like a great choice too, yummy.

Thanks for the suggestions ladies! It is really appriciated. I will take a look in the book. I keep finding myself re-reading all of the chapters over and over again, lol. So much info! I will be trying out the cucumber slices idea for sure!
