My husband has always had extremely low HDL cholesterol. His recent blood test came back
total cholesterol 91 LDL 47 HDL 35 Triglycerides 65
He struggles with mild depression and difficulty dealing with stress. We have read that low HDL can contribute to these problems. Has anyone had any experience or knowlege of this issue?

When I suffered from graves disease, a thyroid disease, I also had extremely low cholesterol. It also contributes to depression.I sincerely hope this is not your case!
