Hello!
I've been on the plan for just over a month! Love it. I am so happy with my weight, but I still have the baby pooch (I've had three wonderful little blessings). What should I do? Will continued eating on the plan help me? I don't want to loose too much more, maybe 3 pounds max. Do I need more exercise? I haven't been doing that since we're experiencing 111 degree heat here in Northern California.
Anyway, what would your recommendations be? Can't wait to hear!

I was in the same position. No matter what I did I could not get rid of the pooch. You may have a diastasis, which is VERY common for women who have had babies. I had never heard of it before February of this year, and I have 6 children! Check out Fit2b.us an fitness website for exercise that are healing for diastasis fit2b.us/how-to-check-for-diastasis-hd/The good news is that doing crunches is not good for pooches, and the exercises on Fit2B are Tummy Safe. I healed my diastasis in about 8 weeks and said goodbye to crunches gladly forever! Another resource is Lose your Mummy Tummy by Tupler (same principles as Fit2B) Between Fit2B, and THM, I feel like a whole new Mama!

I am so glad to know this. I did a quick test that I found online and I definitely have diastasis...now I know why I haven't been able to flatten my stomach since baby #2,no matter how much weight I lose or how much I exercise! I've been doing pilates and apparently have unknowingly been making the pooch worse.

Have the same issue. I used a video from www.befitmom.com that really strengthened my separation. Julie Tuplers stuff is good too.

I think I am having this same issue. After losing 25 lbs I feel like my stomach is sticking out more now than before. Did you continue regular exercising while fixing the diastasis or stop all activity until it was fixed? Also how bad was it? I am only 2 fingertips.
