I'm trying to check into THM to see if this is the diet that will work for what my Dr. wants me doing. He would like me to try gluten free, low carb diet. Would THM be the right fit for me? Thanks so much for you help.

Yes, I think THM will be wonderful for you. There is a bunch of really important and wonderful info at the beginning of the book, that helps you understand the plan, why it works, why it's good, etc. I recommend getting the book and really diving in to see what it's all about. I think it will be very helpful for you.

Thank you so much for the insight. I'm just so overwhelmed right now with trying to go Low Carb and Gluten Free at the same time I didn't even know where to begin.

I think this would be very helpful for you then. Almost every recipe in the book is gluten free anyway, and very delicious.

I have the book ordered I can hardly wait for it to arrive. But just from what I've read on line I expect I'm going to feel overwhelmed for a while?

joanmarie, I just ordered the book yesterday, am hoping to get it read and prepare my kitchen (and my mind) to start after Labor Day. I need to lose at least 100 (really 120) pounds, so this is going to be a lifestyle change for me, not a diet. I can't remember the last time I was this excited about change! We can do this!

I am a vegetarian, not for health reasons, but simply because I don't care for the taste of meat or fish. Is it still feasible to do this program?
