The recipe for earth milk calls for virgin coconut oil, or extra virgin coconut oil. Is there a difference between the two? It also says in regard to coconut oil, "do not use the cooking kind." Not sure what she is referring to--do not use regular oil but do use coconut oil? Just a little confused...

I'm not sure if there is a difference in virgin or extra virgin co but I believe the cooking kind she is referring to is Louanne that you can buy at Wal-Mart or other similar refined coconut oils.

You want to use cold pressed, raw coconut oil rather than the refined kind used for cooking. If I understand right, the refined kind still has a lot of of good stuff in it, but raw is best in recipes that don't have to be heated.
