I made the following tonight, and want to make sure it's really okay to eat this for an E breakfast or snack. I licked the spoon and it is so delicious! I just have a harder time with "E" recipes, and always feel I'm being "bad" when I think of recipes with fruit or high carbs, let alone eat it! Some thinking is harder to change...
3 cups 0% fat greek yogurt (27g carbs) 1 1/3 cups canned cherries in water - no added sugar(~32 carbs) 3 packets Real Lime powder (0 carbs) 2 tbs Truvia (24 carbs)
I divided this into 5 1-cup servings 13 grams of protein 16 grams of carbs 0 grams fat

Sure, by your numbers though you still need to up the carbs a bit to be a true E. Maybe add a piece of toast?

Sounds really yummy...you could have 2 servings to get more carbs for an E meal. That would be so tough, lol!

Thanks! For some reason, I thought an "E" just needed to be less than 5g fat and more than 10g carbs? And could be up to 45g carbs?

There isn't a strict number so to speak, but you want to fuel your body with the healthy carbs. I have seen 20 or 25 carbs being about the minimum. If you go too low you are just above FP and not going to rev your metabolism with never switching out of that and S.

Ah, I see. That makes sense - and I'm sure I read it in the book!

I love that Real Lime and Real Lemon. What a great idea to mix with cherries

Sounds delicious! A great snack. Maybe a larger portion for breakfast or have a smoothie with it?
