Thursday, December 12th, 2013
I'm doing my best to stay on the T.H.M. plan. My midwife has asked me to eat every 2 hours and get at least 100 grams daily of protein due to my high blood pressure. So far I've felt good doing this. Here is the menu I hope to follow today:
(FP) 6:00 1 cup Greek yogurt, 1/2 cup frozen berries, stevia
(FP) 8:00 2 egg white scramble (save yolks for later today), with onions, peppers, garlic, 1 tsp. butter and 1 Tbs. skim mozzarella
(E) 10:00 Roasted crispy garbanzoes, raw kohlarabi and celery
(E) 12:00 Baked sweet potato, piece of salmon, steamed brussel sprouts, 1 tsp. butter
(FP) 2:00 part of a Big Boy Smoothie. No ice!
(S) 4:00 Crunchy cheese crackers, small handful of nuts,
(S) 6:00 Baked chicken with mustard. Salad with olive oil.
(S) Cream and greens. With saved egg yolks. No whey.
By keeping amounts small, I hope to not overdo it and calorie overload. :-)

Not sure what happened... but I replaced my evening salad and pulled asparagus out of the fridge, cooked and even ate it before I realized it! Lol Forgot the mustard on the chicken, too! Shall I blame it on my headache this afternoon? The cream and greens tonight..... I LOVED!

Friday, December 13th
(S) 6:00 1 egg fried in butter.
(F.P.) 8:00 1 cup kefir w/ 1/2 cup berries
(S) 10:00 Just like wheat thins, peanut butter
(S) 12:00 Piece of salmon, brussel sprouts w/ butter
(F.P.) 2:00 Melt in your mouth meringues
(F.P) 4:00 Greek onion dip w/ raw vegies
(S) 6:00 Fooled Ya pizza, S salad w/ toppings
(S) 8:00 Basic treat squares
Food prep for tomorrow: Extra of wheat thins, basic treat squares, pizza. Make cauli rice. Hardboil eggs.

Saturday, December 14th

Sunday, December 15th
(F.P.) 6:00 Shake. 2 cups almond milk, vanilla, stevia, salt, 1/2 tsp. xanthum gum,1 Tbs. carob powder, 1/2 scoop whey pdr. Based off of fat stripping frappe, but used no ice and no water. Replaced with almond milk.
(E) 8:00 Piece of fruit and tsp. of p.nut butter
(F.P.) 10:00 1 cup kefir with berries.
(S) 12:00 Oopsie roll hamburgers. Tomato soup.
(S) 2:00 No bake cheesecake. (My recipe)
(F.P.) 4:00 Greek onion dip and raw vegetables
(S) 6:00 Spaghetti Squash casserole, salad
(S) 8:00 Basic treat square

Monday, December 16th

(S) 8:00 Fried egg in butter with sauteed red bell pepper and onion.
(F.P.) 10:00 Kefir with berries and stevia.
(S) 12:00 Avocado, cheese, tomato sandwich on oopsie roll. Leftover tomato soup.
(F.P.) 2:00 Big boy Smoothie, no ice.
(S) 4:00 Basic treat square.
(S) 6:00 Leftover spaghetti squash casserole, and cauli rice meat dish. Salad.
(F.P.) 8:00 Tummy tucking ice cream.
My salad last night ended up being just a bed of lettuce. Evening snack ended up way late.

Cheesecake for breakfast, how naughty?! Unless your a THM & then you can sit back & enjoy! I hope it was yummy, cheesecake has been on my mind...gonna have to force myself to make some now, lol!

I substituted the basic treat squares last night in place of the tummy tucking icecream, as my prepared ice cubes had frozen into the freezer. :-)

Tuesday, December 17th
(S) 6:00 Fried egg in butter.
(S) 8:00 Cinnamon M.I.M. with cream cheese Greek yogurt, lemon icing.
(F.P.) 10:00 Kefir with berries and stevia.
(S) 12:00 Hummus, with vegies, white cheese, olives, avocado, etc.
(S or F.P.) 2:00 White cheese and berry whip with 1/2 scoop protein powder. Not sure if this cheese is S or not, but I'm using in place of cottage cheese.
(S) 4:00 Flax crackers with peanut butter.
(S) 6:00 Fahitas (no wraps) with S toppings.
(F.P.) Tummy tucking icecream.
Tomorrow, if plans work out, I will be in town all day, so I also need to prepare my food for then.

(S) 12:00 Cauliflower soup, with turkey Bacon, with cream cheese almond milk white sauce. And flax bread with butter.
(F.P) 2:00 Big Boy Smoothie. No ice.
(S) 4:00 Guacamole with raw vegies.
(S) 6:00 Deer stew.
(S) 8:00 Special agent brownie with raspberry creamcheese icing.

I did drag my food around... in heavy glass canning jars and did good, the first half of the day. Then between catching the city buses to get around.... I forgot to or just didn't take time to eat every time.. still had to carry it, though! Made up for it and ate some of it together later. Town can be tough! Lol

Oh, and looks like the hummus was a S helper. It was made with garbanzoes.
