Ok. I'm back here again. Wonder if I can keep myself in line and do my menus faithfully for a month?! :-) Having to post them means I have to make them. :-) I'm also adding in my teas and drinks to my chart. Here goes for today:
Wednesday January 8th, 2014
Water &lemon
(S) 6:00 1 egg fried in butter, 1/2 Roma tomato
Singing canary.
(S) 8:00 2 Tbs. peanut butter w/ celery
Raspberry Tea.
(F.P.) 10:00 1 cup low fat kefir w/ 1/2 cup mixed berries and stevia, blended
Passionflower Tea.
(S) 12:00 1 piece of salmon and green peppers, onions, and mushrooms fried in butter
G.G.M.S.
(F.P.) 2:00 Chia tapioca pudding
Raspberry Tea.
(S) 4:00 Cinnamon M.I.M. w/ cream cheese icing
Alfalfa Tea.
(S) 6:00 Fried chicken breast in butter, w/ spinach salad with S toppings
Passionflower Tea.

A couple changes to yesterdays menu: very hungry when I got ready to eat chia pudding, so I mixed in some whey powder. Did not just eat one bowl of tomato soup as I felt starved... had two, also added grated parmesan cheese, then felt awful, full, and bloated. Got down my liquids, but skipped the cucumber and cheese as I still felt full and bloated. Added the walnuts to the cookies. Hungry before bed, had stuffed green olives and some cheese.

For lunch yesterday I just did the egg omelet.. with lots of vegies. And I had my version of skinny chocolate, (more like milk chocolate, and made with carob, also what I use for carob chips in my cookies) Also stirred whey protein powder and some banana flavor in my snack of chia pudding.

Lunch may have been a crossover... my son fixed the chicken breast while I was walking in lots of butter!  Instead of the big boy smoothie, I had almond milk and a little whey powder. The fajitas at supper were good. My sour cream was bad.  And I didn't want to use the rest of my cheese, but I had cream cheese, so I made a sauce with almond milk, cream cheese and xanthum gum and poured it over the meat/ vegies. I topped mine with fresh tomatoes and guacamole.

I saw carob in a couple of item, it is much higher in carbs that cocoa and that is why cocoa is referenced in the book. It is probably creating some mini-crossovers, thought you would want to know  That said I was going to say about your chicken, that cross-overs are ok for pregnant and nursing mamas

I know carob is.. although I don't know exactly where it falls. I'm not using any cocoa/ chocolate due to the caffeine content and my blood pressure.

I went to town with my husband, went grocery shopping. Won't put down the teas and drinks... kept up with then, today.

Monday, January 13th
Was a hard day. Did not prepare my menu. Getting ready for a trip to Missouri. Did not keep up with my drinks, or eat every 2 hours.
2 eggs (S) Skinny carob (?) Salad with leftover beef brisket and green beans. (S) Cheesecake. (S) Almond milk and whey powder (F.P.) Rice with almond milk, pear (E) Bkuberry muffins with cream. (S)

I also had coconut blueberry muffins last night... with cream. I love these blueberry muffins and have been craving the cream, and probably have really been overdoing the cream. Sunday evening I had WAY too much... I'm not saying how much! Lol. I also forgot to post on Sunday I had a Zevia cream soda when in town.

I didn't actually make the menu for all of today as I was not planning to be home, but planned breakfast, supper, and took snacks. Greek yogurt w/pear (E) Cookie bowl oatmeal (F.P.) Lunch: Applebee's chicken portobello (gave potatoes to husband) sauce on dish maybe off plan? Ate very few cornchips. Salsa, spinach dip. (C.O.) Cheesecake (S) Blueberry muffin (S) Deer meat in spinach sauce, green beans, flax bread and butter (S) Blueberry muffin, vanilla cream pudding (S)
