I'm not sure I'll get mine in today. I had an unexpected root canal this morning and have a quilt that has to be done by tomorrow. I'll post if I get it worked in.
You ladies keep it up, you are doing fantastic!

Just finished the walk-2-miles with Leslie Sansonne. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it and I could do the whole thing without thinking us have to stop in between. I've done this program the most during my pregnancy but I always think I'm going to have gotten badly out of shape while I neglected exercising. I want to alternate this 2-mile walk with 2 other prenatal weight exercises from Fit Sugar. Hope I can stick to my exercise plan for the last 10 weeks of this pregnancy!

I did get 4 days walking in last week. Today we have snow again. Not sure I will brave it today.

Rebekah. I use my iPhone to exercise. Maybe it would work for you to look up walk-a-mile exercise tv. You can 'walk' in your living room. maybe you're not interested in doing it this way. There is a 1,2,and more miles but I find the 2 mile to be perfect. I'm not sure how to paste a link on here. It's just a YouTube video so its free.

That does sound interesting. My phone only gets service in a couple spots in the windows, and I can't generally get videos, etc.

Was able to get my 2-mile-walk in again this morning. Feels really good. All my girls did the 1-mile-walk after I was done. It's good to see. When my 12 year old gets ready the 8 and 6 year old get ready too. It helps the older one feel more motivated to have someone join her. It's also interesting to see how different each if their 'styles' of exercise is. My 6 year old takes it very serious and tries to do all the moves precisely and makes sure she pushes herself. Our 8 Yr old is a big clutzy and she finds it fun but a bit silly. She giggles. And our oldest is the one that needs exercise to lose weight but she doesn't really like to exercise. When she is finished she is happy she did it. She has been very discouraged doing THM. At first she lost 10 lbs rather quickly and then nothing. She has been growing and the scale has been climbing. She has been on THM for over a year, just like me. I can't understand why she doesn't lose. I am starting to think that exercise is going to be the key with her.

Did my 2-mile-walk workout this morning. I want to alternate with 3 workouts from Fit Sugar. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 2-mile-walk Tuesday, Thursday: 3 / 10 min workouts from Fit Sugar. --------arms, leg and back end, full body. These are weight training while the 2-mile-walk is cardio/aerobic. On weeks when I workout every day I'm usually pretty wiped out by Friday. See how this week goes. 31 weeks pregnant, want to finish strong and prepared.

Good for you, Susieq. I only made it 3X walking last week. I really think excercise helps with a quicker labor.

Right now I am trying to exercise 5 days a week with different types of exercise to keep my body from getting used to one activity. I am trying to do one 1/2 hour run, one 1/2 hour high intensity session on a stair climber, and 3 bootcamp style sessions. The bootcamp exercise is based on the 3-2-1 model from Jilian Michaels' 30 day fat shread, only I do 3 minutes cardio, 2 minutes strength, and 1 minute abs. I do three of these rotations with a warm up and cool down. So far I am finding this plan fairly easy to stick to as it is only half an hour, 5 times a week. Most of the time the only thing that is affecting my weight is what I eat, but I have so much more energy when I exercise, not to mention the toning of my muscles!

I'm going to try to keep up with this thread because I could use the accountability. My goal this week was to walk 1 hr/day for 5 days. I have completed 4 days so far My oldest son & I will start with the couch to 5k program which lasts about 1/2 hr & then just walk the last 1/2 hr. While we do this my sweet hubby runs around us, he just loves to run & it's so easy for him...not so much for me but I'm working on it!

3 days exercising for me last week and 3 days so far this week. It seems I can easily handle 3 days straight and then I hit a tired time where I know I need a break for a day or 2.

I met my goal of walking 5 days this week. I was so tired today (after 2 FP days) but made it outside to do the couch to 5k & then walk. It was under an hour today because we started a bit later & hubby needed to get to work. But 5 days of walking this week I'm hoping to add in 2 days of fit2b workouts next week.

I made it to the gym last night for an intense session on the stair climber! Feeling good about this since I worked a very busy/tiring 12 hour shift yesterday and didn't feel like exercising at all!

I walked/ran for an hour yesterday but felt awful when I got up this morning, allergy related I think, just couldn't bring myself to run. I'm going to try to squeeze it in later, I hope
