We had this for breakfast this morning & it is really good & simple! I used raw milk for the growing children & Unsweetened Almond Milk for myself. This is from Counting All Joy blog Strawberry and Oats Muesli (serves 5) ¼ cup raw almonds 1 ½ cups rolled oats ½ cup raisins 1/8 tsp cinnamon stevia to taste Pinch of sea salt 1 cup (or more) fresh strawberries Raw nut milk to serve Place almonds in food processor. Pulse till large but chopped chunks exist. Place the rest of the ingredients in the food processor in the order listed. Process until a moist, chunky and a slightly granular consistency is achieved. You don’t want to end up with a thick paste, so watch your processing! Spoon into bowl and pour milk over the top. (Any milk will do, we are leaning towards almond and coconut milk these days… raw cows milk will return… I hope.) (super healthy option: soak oats and almond in water overnight, drain and rinse then follow instructions) Strawberry and Oat Muesli {Trim Healthy Mama, Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Low Glycemic, Sugar Free, Raw} This is an E for you Trim Healthy Mama’s. Leave out the raisins to stay on plan, maybe use unsweetened cranberries or goji berries. The amount of Almonds in the recipe, when divided up between 5 bowls will not equal enough fat to make it a cross-over. icon smile Strawberry and Oat Muesli {Trim Healthy Mama, Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Low Glycemic, Sugar Free, Raw} Read her full post with recipe notes here: countingalljoy.com/2013/03/strawberry-and-oat-muesli-trim-healthy-mama-gluten-free-dairy-free-low-glycemic-sugar-free-raw.html

I also made this a while back. By the look of the picture I had to give it a while before I could get myself to try it, but finally the thoughts of combining strawberries and oats won! It was delicious!! I've just forgotten about this recipe. Thanks for the reminder.

I did the same . Once I thought about it (oats, yep, love those & strawberries, definitely love those) & I realized that I really wasn't in the mood for pancakes like I planned, it was an easy decision...so good!

Yes, and I thought it would be soggy and goopy...not at all. Just perfect.
