Oh my goodness. I am on my second read-through the book and it is suddenly dawning on me why I might have had two very young children (2yo) who had mouths full of dental carries even though we ate very 'healthy'. Dh and I were vegetarians for 12 years (including trying to eat raw for a few months). One of our children had 6 cavities at 2yo even though I would have described her diet as 'immaculate' and another one had teeth so bad she needed 4 root canals and 3 crowns that had to be done under general anaesthetic.
Could it be that if I'd only I'd fed them some meat we might not have had these issues? I am amazed. Fortunately, about 5 years ago, we found the writings of Weston Price and we haven't had any issues since we added meat.

Wow! I never realized how important Vitamin D is for healthy teeth also. I was so amazed when I read his book 'Nutrition and Physical Degeneration'. I have started supplementing our little boy's diet with Vit. D as he has many cavities.

that's great andrea. are you using the fermented cod liver oil? better yet the butter oil/cod mixture? that will help his mouth immensely.

Right now we have the Standard Process Tuna Fish Oil and I give him a Vit. D supplement once or twice a week. I've just added bone broth to his diet as of this weekend and that will help also. poor guy......he now has an abscessed tooth. His oral health is awful!! The dentist can only guess it is from his birthmother's daily drug use and very poor diet! ( The product you mentioned are great though and I have bought them twice when I can make the room in the budget.
