Is there a good guideline to use for converting sugar to Stevia or sweet blend measurements? I see a lot of recipes that use honey or coconut sugar etc and would like to make them with on plan sweetener, but feel like I'm flying blind a little.
Also, how long did it take you to acquire a taste for Stevia? I've been using it for years and am pretty used to the taste but my husband isn't.

I don't know the exact measurements for converting from actual sugar. I would suggest trying some of the recipes that are developed already till you get more of an idea for it. Or, just start small and taste and add. Sorry that's probably not much help.
I love the stevia, but I have a son and husband who don't care so much for it, either! I find the flavors of stevia blend best with dairy and fruit.

I agree with Rebekah, dairy and fruit are the better options for good taste with stevia. Peanut butter based foods are also good with stevia. But a mix of xylitol or erythritol with stevia gives a very nice balance. Somewhere there is a conversion chart that lists all the sweeteners and their equivalents. It's on this forum somewhere, I think. One of the admins. Could post it here for you.

There's this chart. www.trimhealthymama.com/main-home/sweetener-conversion-chart/My kids hated see stevia at first. But between time and switching to the THM brand, my kids like it. My oldest complained the most in the past and she'll ask for it now. It tastes just like sugar to me. When I accidently put too much in my tea, it tastes like I added too much sugar.

When I first tried baking with the sweet blend I put a tiny bit in my mouth and YUCK! But when I put it in the cookies they came out just fine except I probably should have used a little more. I noticed the same thing with the Stevia.
