I've ordered two packages of the baking blend and it has shipped! However, I also ordered the new cookbook which has arrived. There are so many good recipes I'm dying to try- but a lot require the baking blend. What would be a good substitute- almond or coconut flour? Is there a recipe for the baking blend? Thanks!

I've ordered my books as well and I have not received them yet. I was really hoping they would include a recipe for the baking blend. Some sites use equal amounts of oat fiber, almond flour, and flax meal. They say they've had good results with it. I'll be mixing up a few batches and see how it turns out. Brianna Thomas has a blog and she does have a baking blend mix recipe on her site. You might want to give it a try.

I think rayesplace.blogspot.com/search/label/FP%20Easy%20Mix is a good FP mix. THMs is really going to be the most ideal as they sourced a lower fat coconut flour of some sort so it is a super FP mix and what they recipes were tested with. They did put many Baking Blend recipes in as ladies were clamoring for them

There is talk of a 5 pound Baking Blend, I am looking forward to that as I bet that will bring it down more cost effective

I need a true substitute for the flour unfortunately. I am hardly allergic to anything, but almond flour gives me a stomach ache and flax seed anything makes me violently sick. That only leaves coconut flour! I'm wondering if there is anything I can add to the coconut flour?

I just checked out the link that Steffanie3 posted. I think that you could use that one, lisacherie! No almond meal or flaxseed!
