Hi, I was wondering what other members use for protein for breakfast? Are there certain brands of sausage and bacon that are on plan? I have a sausage recipe that I make from 94% Lean Ground Turkey (no antibiotics added hormones) and spices. The serving size is 4 oz of raw turkey and has 7g fat 1g carbohydrate, no sugar. I am wondering if this will work for both E and S meals? Also, if I have scrambled eggs for breakfast with mozzarella cheese, do the eggs count for protein or will I want to add another source? Does yogurt count as a protein (can I just have yogurt and berries)? I make my own yogurt out of raw milk. I remove the cream so I can use it for E and S. I am trying to figure out what counts as protein in a meal. Thanks for any help!

Yes all of those can work as a protein source The homemade sausage you would want to use 96% of higher lean for any fuel setting, or rinse in super hot water thoroughly. Scrambled eggs and cheese both have protein (egg would be your main source). You hurt can be too. For a FP (S friendly) yogurt you want to strain off more whey from a regular yogurt, that will give you a Greek style.
