Hi Everyone! I'm new to the board and have only been doing THM for a few weeks now. I was wondering if I can use homemade coconut milk on S,E, and FP meals? I was just worried not really knowing what the fat content was, as I'm still trying to loose weight and don't want to accidentally create a crossover. I make it by blending 2 cups unsweetened coconut chips with 4 cups water, strain though a nut milk bag and then put it in the fridge. After all the coconut oil has came to the top and hardened, I remove it. Would that then make the leftover milk "skim" and therefor safe for E and FP? I could always use half water half coconut milk in recipes too.

I wod still keep it in an S, or use only a small amount, counting towards your fat in an E or FP.

Meaning don't use a whole teaspoon of oil, butter, etc in E or FP if I'm also using the milk?

Yes. I would try to use the coconut milk as your fat. But you will probably need to keep the amount of it small even then. Maybe just a few Tablespoons or a 1/4 cup. This is just a guess as I do not know the fat content of it.
