hello, i'm new. never even posted a intro yet! i read the book on our journey from IL to TX and back and have ordered some konjak foods and have tried to greatly alter my diet to be S. alas, we all have the flu here (me, hubby, and 7 kiddos ranging from 8 y. down to almost 6 months). i can barely boil water for tea after trying to care for my babies!
my question, how do you adapt this lifestyle when you are totally wiped out. and are there suggestions for foods/food preps that will aid quicker recovery? ;D
(we're already big on vit D3, buffered asorbic/vit C, and ACV/honey/lemon tea.)
thanks for whatever you have to offer!
His grace and mercy to you all!

I was just sick and I LOVED the big boy smoothie when I wasn't feeling well. IT calmed my sore throat, was creamy without making more mucous and filled me up but was super easy to make. I also made the red soup from the dinner section while I was sick. Super easy and yummy when I was sick. Scrambled eggs are great when you are sick and just can't get it together to make anything else. Also, if you have any skinny chocolate, the raw extra virgin coconut oil might help.

If you are able, the Earth Milk would be great! I ate the Almond Yogurt Swirl when we were sick a few weeks ago. I hope you all feel better soon!!
