For some reason, a lot of the time when I have an E meal, afterwards I'll have a really bad stomachache; same with my mom (who is really the Julie on this username ) and older sister. Does anyone know what the problem could be? It doesn't always happen; it seems to mostly be when that E meal was just a very basic one, with chicken breast or fish and quinoa or rice (which we do soak), and sometimes a veggie. What do you think is making my stomach hurt?

You might try some digestive enzymes with your E meals. Do you have the same response to oats and/or sprouted breads?

Do they sell those in pills, or how do you eat them? I've never tried sprouted breads; but I don't usually feel like that with oats, especially if I ate plenty of protein with them. But I know with the rice or quinoa it's not a problem of not eating enough protein with it, because I'm always sure to eat lots.

Yes, you can get digestive enzymes in pill form. You take them with your meals. If you are sure its the grains that are causing the stomach ache, look for an amylase enzyme mix for digesting beans starches, like a Beano type. Protein breakdown mixtures usually have bromelain and papain. Fat digesting mixes will include oxbile, and lipase, dairy digesting enzymes will contain lactase. Low stomach acid can benefit form HCL (hydrochloric acid) capsules. Or you can just get a cross-spectrum one.
It might be that you are sensitive to the quinoa and the rice, since the oats don't bother you. You can be sensitive to anything.
