Where does TVP fit in THM, or does it not fit?
I'm a regular garden-variety carnivore, but I became familiar with TVP when I was working in a friend's health food restaurant a few years ago, and it's convenient in many ways.

We are supposed to avoid a lot of soy, especially if there are any thyroid issues.
The recommendation on soy is to stick to the fermented kinds, like miso and tempeh, or sprouted tofu, but even those in moderation.
TVP seems to be a processed form of soy. Probably not optimum as its basically a defatted soy flour.
Page 234 of the book talks about it.

Queen is right.
I was trying to get an official answers from FB admins, but most weren't familiar with it. But the general consensus was it was very highly processed and since we want to be careful with soy, TVP is probably best avoided.
