I have yet to find a way to do THM that lets me lose anything. It has been mostly great for maintaining though, so I'm grateful for that. I'm at goal now, but if I inch up on the scale, THM eating doesn't get me back down again. I've done fuel cycles, the stubborn losers menus and not seen any difference.
I have a couple extra pounds right now that I'd like to see gone. I notice I start to gain if I do too many FP meals, so that seems counter-intuitive. I seem to do best with more E's than S, and frequent light crossovers. When I cut out the cross-overs, I start to gain again. Does that make sense to anyone?
My latest strategy has been to try and get in more greens. Meal salads are my usual go-to's, as I don't like cold food (especially in winter). Smoothies are not an option because of the cold. But I'd like to explore some other ideas.
I blend as much into soups as I can. I've recently started to add sweet potato or butternut squash chunks to creamy grains for breakfast and I'm liking that pretty well. But greens don't seem that appealing there. I guess its a win though, when you include any extra vegetables.
I tried the cuddle family hot chocolate with the okra, but its too much work for the end result. There are other hot chocolate recipes I like much better. I need simple, warm and tasty!

I've been doing a lot of FP broth soups lately since it still seems like winter most every day. I find it is easy to eat a ton of veggies that way. A nice chicken breast broth with cabbage sliced super thin like noodles and topped with a big handful of freshly chopped cilantro has been a favorite. It's amazing how sweet cabbage can taste in a soup. I can then easily go either E or S from there to make a meal. I'd love it if others would share the easy ways you incorporate more veggies. I'm really looking for simple. A lot of the recipes are kind of contrived-feeling. I just want some ideas that don't involve a lot of prep but are just yummy. I'm mostly interested in cooked vegetable ideas. I try not to eat any raw goitrogens like (cabbage, cauli, broccoli, etc) just to be kind to my thyroid.

A simple veggie lunch I enjoy is a sweet potato with a tsp of butter. Love it! Then maybe a bit of cottage cheese or some cooked chicken or lunch meat, whatever I have on hand to add some protein.
Winter sure is hanging on, eh? I can’t wait for salads! I love Caesar with blendtons. Or the Trim Mac.

I like the trim mac salad too, but I use spring greens in it. I like grilled chicken salads with a few pecans or pumpkin seeds, goat cheese and strawberries with strawberries blended into an olive oil vinagrette. I've not tried having a sweet potato as my main lunch. It sounds good.
