I am beginning THM today and have a question for all of you: does anyone else out there have the beginnings of an "apron of FAT" around their belly?? I have never had this before and it REALLY bothers me. I am quite a bit overweight (50 lbs.) so it might be just from the weight, or from being so out of shape. I'd like to know if anyone that has had it has seen it go away upon losing significant weight?
Thanks so much!!

I hear body brushing can help tighten the skin up. I think, at least in my case, it’s post baby and weight. I got all stretched out having kids and I have a fair bit of weight in my tummy, so gravity makes an apron.

I noticed that at one point after menopause that I started to get that apron. It was horrible. Now that I've lost weight, it has mostly shrunk up, but if I gain, that seems to be the first place it shows. It's like its just waiting to fill up and start hanging over again. I think it is because of the hormonal changes, because my skin always went back to normal after a big weight loss until after menopause. It doesn't have the same elasticity now.
