Can one not be producing enough estrogen while pregnant? While nursing DS1 I hardly ever had enough of my own vaginal lube, a rather annoying problem. It got a little better while I was weaning him but once I got pregnant with this DS (currently 31 weeks) I'm dry ALL the time... I'm planning on talking to my OB at my checkup this week, just wondering if anyone else has had this happen, or suggestions on how to get my body to start making some.

I did read the part about coconut oil in the book, but I'm pretty sure my husband won't go for that... I'm getting the Good Clean Love lube-since it is supposed to be more naturally based, but if it is a hormone problem I would love to get it fixed and not have to use any lube :-( Thanks for the suggestion!

I am guessing that you probable cant do anything hormonally while pregnant to fix it and usually the increased progesterone used by our bodies in the 2nd half of our cycles and during pregnancy to sustain the pregnancy is just what it is. The only time I really have an increase of natural cm is when I am fertile...so i dunno if it can be fixed Hopefully someone else knows!
